Installation of a full-scale canoe accompanied by debris and sculptural pieces of concrete and steel in the shape of a snake. I take the canoe as a way of naming the historical relationship of humans with water, which establishes a bridge where the means of transportation is also the means of naming underdevelopment and Latin American rural culture. Traditional boats have been an essential reference of great significance in Colombian culture, from pre-Columbian manifestations (the Muisca raft), in popular culture (songs like the piragua) and literary references (García Márquez, for example); hence its importance as a symbolic element and identity. The canoe is also a metaphor for the journey.

In contrast, concrete, a material that is the index and trace of what has been built by man, is present to establish crosses of signs that refer to dystopias and contradictions that exceed the possibilities, generating a visual relationship of cause and effect in its imminent collapse, collapse and overflowing.
