Ensambles
2022Ensambles is a series of assemblages that combine a wide range of materials, from concrete and metal to organic and natural elements, establishing a dialogue in a nonlinear form. Instead of following a traditional narrative or a linear sequence of events, the pieces interact with each other in a complex and multidimensional way. Each component brings its own history, texture, and meaning, and by merging with the others, they create a network of unique connections and relationships.
The dialogue between the different pieces is a dynamic and ever-evolving process. Much like a conversation between people, the pieces interact, influence one another, and generate new ideas and perspectives. Contrasting materials and diverse forms intertwine, generating creative tensions and unexpected symbioses.
Through this nonlinear approach, I seek to challenge conventional expectations of how different elements of an artwork should relate to one another. The absence of a rigid structure allows for greater freedom and spontaneity in exploring connections and associations. This fosters a rich visual and sensory experience, where viewers can interpret and engage with the work in an individual and unique way.
By allowing the pieces to interact asymmetrically, a fertile ground is created for reflection, contemplation, and the exploration of multiple perspectives. Each observer can find their own meaning and establish personal connections with the work, thus enriching the dialogue between the pieces and the viewer.
